Evening Trip To Dinorwic Quarry 3
Another opportunity for a member's trip to Dinorwic Quarry to take some pictures on Thursday 10th August 2017.
Date: Thurs 10th August 2017.
Time: 19:15 hrs for a prompt 19:30 hrs start.
Meet: Car park at Bus Stop Quarry, Dinorwig (OS Grid ref: SH 590 610).
Bring: Camera gear, sturdy footwear, a drink & midge repellent.
Suggested route: If late, follow the main footpath (past the cutting shed on the left & the View Point) & into the quarry. Over the first gate (on the left) an head up towards the cutting sheds/large rusty water tank (on the skyline up to the right). There is good slate path, but it is steep. Returning the same way.
Time required: At least 2hrs.

Update: A beautiful clear evening with high cloud appearing before dusk.
